DCU: Next Generation exists only because comic book
lovers like you keep it updated with news, stories, and artwork.
The site was designed and is maintained
by Sean Taylor
(that's me hard at work). It was orignally designed using a combination
of AOLpress and coding
by hand on a (believe it or not!) 486/25. I now use a Mac G3 Powerbook, a
perk of my job!
I work as the Associate Editor for
On Mission magazine
and provide content for the magazine's website, published by the
North American Mission Board
of the Southern Baptist Convention (yes, I'm one of "them").
I'm also a freelance writer and book
and music reviewer, and have published articles in
CBA
Marketplace,
CCM, Church
Administration, Baptist Press, and The Alpharetta-Roswell
Revue. I've also published a three short stories and some poetry in
O' Georgia: A Collection
of Georgia's Newest and Most Promising Writers. I'm currently working
on an original comic book which a friend and I will soon be pitching to comics
companies. Comics stories of mine will soon be appearing in Asylum by
PIN! & Ink
and Love in Tights by Slave Labor Graphics. I also have an online collection
of poems, devotions, and short stories and
my personal
site.
I'm happily married to my wife
and best friend of almost 10 years, Lisa. Future comic book fanatics in the
family include my daughter, Charis, and sons, Evan and Jack. Oh yeah, and
I'd better not forget my cat, Merlin.
Some of you have wondered what other comics I follow
besides the DC teens. So, I'll let you know my whole monthly list.
